2021 Hurricane Preparedness
The time to prepare for a hurricane is NOW, before the season begins. Once you’re under pressure, having a written plan will take the guesswork out of what you need to do to protect you and your family.
Know where you will ride out the storm and get your supplies now. You don’t want to be standing in long lines when a Hurricane Watch is issued. Those supplies that you need will probably be sold out by the time you reach the front of the line.
Being prepared now will mean the difference between you being a hurricane victim or a hurricane survivor. ready.gov/make-a-plan

NEW BELLEAIR BLUFFS FIRE STATION
After years of planning and development, the multi-agency “ground-breaking” intergovernmental project began to construct Fire Station No. 43 located at 2765 Bayway Avenue in Belleair Bluffs. The new station was designed to integrate well within the neighborhood. A wall was built around the property to help reduce noise and provide protection for neighbors. Energy efficient materials are throughout, as well as environmentally friendly building materials. The new building can house additional apparatus and withstand up to Category 5 hurricanes.Fire Station 43 held a dedication ceremony and open house on October 12, 2017 that was a great success. The City of Belleair Bluffs and other government agency partners are excited for this collaboration.
